  1. Khoa Dược là một trong những khoa trọng điểm của khối ngành Sức khỏe thuộc Trường Đại học Nguyễn Tất Thành, Khoa Dược ra đời từ Quyết định số 232/2008/QĐ-PHC do Hiệu trưởng Trường Cao đẳng Nguyễn Tất Thành ký ngày 08/08/2008 với chức năng đào tạo Dược sĩ trung cấp.
  2. Ngày 18/08/2011, Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo ra Quyết định số 3381/QĐ-BGDĐT ký ngày 18/08/2011, Khoa được phép đào tạo Dược sĩ cao đẳng.
  3. Năm 2012, Bộ Lao động – Thương binh và Xã hội cho phép đào tạo hệ Cao đẳng nghề nhằm bổ sung nguồn nhân lực cho các xí nghiệp và nhà máy sản xuất thuốc.
  4. Năm 2013, việc đào tạo Dược sĩ Đại học do Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo ký Quyết định số 1887/QĐ-BGDĐT ngày 29/05/2013 lại một lần nữa đưa Khoa Dược bước sang một trang mới.

Achievements

Được tổ chức xây dựng dựa trên chương trình khung của Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo, Bộ Y tế quy định và tham khảo nhiều chương trình tiên tiến của các trường hàng đầu đào tạo lĩnh vực Dược trong cả nước, thay đổi nội dung phù hợp với thực tế, theo yêu cầu của xã hội với sự giám sát và hỗ trợ về chuyên môn của các giáo sư, tiến sĩ đầu ngành.

Đáp ứng yêu cầu trong công tác giảng dạy với 80% cán bộ giảng dạy có trình độ sau và trên đại học.

Khoa có tổng số 28 PTN cho 15 bộ môn với nhiều thiết bị máy móc hiện đại. Ngoài ra, Khoa cũng có một vườn cây dược liệu riêng với trên 120 loại cây thuốc phục vụ cho các môn học chuyên ngành.

Khoa phối hợp với nhiều nhà thuốc, công ty Dược, Bệnh viện trong thành phố để SV thực tập, hỗ trợ tốt nghề nghiệp cho SV sau khi ra Trường. Cho đến nay, để SV có cơ hội trải nghiệm trong suốt quá trình học tại Trường và có cơ hội tìm được việc làm sau khi tốt nghiệp, Khoa Dược đã liên kết với 1 bệnh viện tuyến trung ương (Bệnh viện Thống Nhất), 14 bệnh viện tuyến quận, huyện của thành phố và hơn 30 nhà thuốc tư nhân, nhà thuốc trong hệ thống chuỗi bán lẻ.

Tính đến tháng 06 năm 2019, Khoa đã có 03 đề tài cấp Bộ, 99 đề tài GV cấp Trường và 22 đề tài SV. Ngoài ra, GV cũng tham gia viết bài cho các báo, tạp chí trong và ngoài nước, đã có nhiều bài nghiên cứu được đăng trên các tạp chí chuyên ngành như Tạp chí Dược học, Tạp chí Dược liệu, Tạp chí Công nghệ sinh học, Tạp chí Khoa học và Công nghệ,…Nhiều bài báo nghiên cứu được chọn báo cáo ở Hội nghị Khoa học toàn quốc, Hội nghị khoa học quốc tế và đăng ở các tạp chí nước ngoài: International Journal of Applied Science and Technology, American Journal of Environment Science, North American Journal of Aquaculture, Journal of Plant Sciences,…
